Why do some women love heels?

I really don't understand why some women like heels....yea they make your legs look lengthy, and you look more conservetive in heels blah blah blah. Some of these same women who love heels cant even balance themselves on these damned contraptions.....personally I prefer flats. Tell me what you think Yahoo Answers.
