Backing out...........................…

Here i am a walmart with my signal on, when some idiotic and irresponsible parents allowing their kids to play in a parking lot ( who does that?). When you're reversing out of a parking spot (in Canada Sask), do you have to turn on your signal light to tell all other drivers where you're going?
