What do on my way to school?

I walk home from school with friends, yet I walk to school alone, so it's kinda boring. I love my own company, but I live in England so it's cold. Therefore, I am bored. What would you suggest? I'm getting an iPod so don't say listen to music. :) I don't have a phone either as I find them useless contraptions.
