Is my apartment haunted or am i just overreacting?

I have a year lease but i only lived here for four or five months now ok so i was cleaning the kitchen up my boyfriend is sleeping in our bedroom three rooms away i'm sweeping and moping the bathroom off the kitchen but in it we keep the door ajar we have two cats 1 ran away the other is sleeping in here with me and he's been sleeping ever since he's old. i kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye as i was cleaning now i'm terrified it was dark i did not see what it was but it appeared to be a glimpse of a child's face do you think my apartment is haunted? i can't afford to move again im poor.
