For an egg drop using only 100 straws, would you recommend building a cube shape or a diamond shape?

I basically need to build some sort of contraption to protect an egg being dropped off a ledge. I have some of my strategy planned out, but I'm not sure if my shape should be a cube or a diamond? (a 3D diamond obviously, but I'm not sure what that'd be called. A bipyramid maybe?) What's your recommendation?
