What is wrong with my iPod?

this is not a real answer but i have a connection my i pod nano has an alarm and when it went off it deleted all 996 of my songs but i have a nook and it has pandora so i am covered but i hate that peice of crap nook thing cause it just deleted all 13 of my books and all 10 of my apps so now i have to reset it
