Ferret gate????? help?

i have 3 ferrets that live in my room. they r loose like cats and have been that way for a few years and i never had a prob. but for some reason now they have decided to destroy my closet and wont stay out of it. i love my babies and will NOT cage them. my problems will be solved if i could find a good gate to keep them out. they have climbed every baby gate a and ferret play gate ive bought. do u have any suggestions of any contraption to keep the out?? i will try anything. please help me!
