Are large nipples a turn off for men?

Last summer it was It sweltering hot out. I wore a wrap around skirt and a white tank top with NO bra on. I have extra large nipples (about 3/4 inch long) and they stick straight out all the time. When I was in the parking lot going to my car, some guy said something like, "Geez! At least wear a bra!" Is this the normal reaction of men when they see when a woman goes braless? I'm not overweight or anything....I just didn't understand that man's reaction. By the way, I didn't do it on purpose, it was just too HOT out to put on one of those contraptions....Thoughts? (Please, no nasty remarks. I'm truly curious....)
